(Travaux d\u2019Humanisme et Renaissance, 510).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Du 22 au 25 mai 2013, s\u2019est tenu \u00e0 Rome un colloque consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 Marc-Antoine Muret (1526-1585), le plus italien des humanistes fran\u00e7ais et \u00e0 qui \u00ab rien de ce qui touchait les textes de l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9 n\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9tranger \u00bb (p. 45). Ce-dernier ayant fui la France pour \u00ab\u2026chercher ailleurs \/ Un ciel meilleur\u2026 \u00bb (Ronsard, Les isles fortun\u00e9es, vv. 39-40) arriva en Italie d\u00e8s 1554, o\u00f9 il publia chez Paul Manuce \u00e0 Venise des textes classiques comment\u00e9s, dont Catulle et T\u00e9rence. Il rentra ensuite au service du cardinal Hippolyte d\u2019Este en 1558 et, apr\u00e8s un court retour en France (1561 \u00e0 1563), il s\u2019installa d\u00e9finitivement \u00e0 Rome \u00e0 partir de 1563. Il y enseigna la philosophie morale, le droit et la litt\u00e9rature latine \u00e0 La Sapienza, quasiment jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort.
