Sous le titre Une insolite curiosit\u00e9, ce volume de plus d&rsquo;un millier de pages rassemble, de mani\u00e8re assez ambitieuse, les travaux d&rsquo;un historien fran\u00e7ais, sp\u00e9cialiste de la Rome antique, qui a profond\u00e9ment renouvel\u00e9 le champ de la recherche en Histoire, en anthropologie et en litt\u00e9rature.
